SERIES RULES & REGULATIONS
Championship Points
A) All Racers that Compete in any 2008 KOC Event will be automatically enrolled in the 2008 Points Series.

B) One Single Point will be earned for each round won. If a competitor is eliminated and is eligible to "Buy Back", they must win the round they bought back into too receive the point for that round.

C) Each competitor will receive one point for competing in each individual race. (Once Time Trials have started for that day all racers that have purchased tech cards for that day will receive a single point. If Time Trials do not get started no points for any racer will be awarded.)

D) A racer may only earn King of the Coast points with One, (1), Permanent number per Class. Clarification- a racer can earn King of the Coast points with a single Points number in Pro Electronics and a single Points number in Pro Footbrake.

E) A racer will drop his/her lowest individual points days excluding rainouts for his/her yearly total.

Race Guidelines
A) Hardship Rule- Applies if a racer breaks the racecar he has entered into that day’s race or the three day event. Before 1st round of eliminations, drivers may put their number on another car. This must be approved by the race director. Due to the low entry, there will be no "Broken Car" credits issued. "No Exceptions."

B) A driver or drivers can not run the same car in Pro Footbrake & Pro Electronics.

C) Once both racers pre-stage their race car, Dial Ins are final and both racers accept the race. Race starter has complete control of the starting line and racing surface.

D) All Wait & See bye runs will carry over to the next round of competition throughout the race. (You keep the bye till you use it or lose it)

E) Saturday’s Wait & See Bye will be determined by random draw of tech cards.

F) Saturday’s Race Winner will be Sunday’s 1st Rd. Wait & See bye.

G) Lane choice will be determined by a flip of the coin unless the Wait-n-See Bye has to run a racer due to an even number of entries in that round.

Bracket II (Non-Delay-Rules & Regulations   
A) Air or Electric Shifters will be allowed.

B) Two-Steps, Transbrakes, and Delay boxes are not allowed.

C) Line Locks can only be used for burn out purposes only.

D) Deep Staging will be allowed & Guaranteed. (Racers deep staging must "DEEP" on tower side of car during all time trials, Run for Money, and Eliminations.

E) No starting line enhancers will be allowed. (ex. Throttle controls, staging solenoids, two steps, etc.)

F) Cars will be randomly inspected.

Bracket I (Electronics)-Rules & Regulations
A) Pro Electronics competitors will only be allowed to run only NHRA approved Delay Boxes and or Throttle Stops. Electronic altering, predicting or adjusting equipment that in any way adjusts the vehicle’s E.T. after it has left the starting line, this includes stutters, top end RPM limiters, GPS controllers, traction controllers, counter interfaces or the like are strictly prohibited. Any violators will be disqualified from the event, suspended indefinitely and any points, prizes, or purse will be forfeited. There will be no refunds or credits given if competitor is found violating these rules.

Junior Dragster Rules & Regulations    
A) Cones Set 5 ft. from Starting Line, Once Jr's front wheels cross, Jr. can no longer be touch by pit crew.(Exception-If Jr quits running crew can attempt to restart Jr.)

B) Drivers Meeting Prior to each Race.(Mandatory)

C) 8-9's Class Minimum Dial is 12.90
D) 10-12's Class Minimum Dial is 8.90
E) 13-Above Class Minimum Dial in 7.90
F) ALL SAFETY EQUIPMENT REQUIRED-NO EXCEPTIONS-(Arm Restraints, Neck Brace, Race Jacket, Race Pants, Gloves, Helmet & Shoes.

Miscellaneous Rules & Regulations

A) No broke passes will be issued.

B) Rainouts- If one single day is rained out, all weekend tech cards will be given a rain check for the difference between a weekend entry and single day entry. All single day tech cards will be given a rain check for full value of his/her single day tech card.

If the entire weekend is rained out. all racers will receive rain checks for the full value of his/her tech card.

Once the third round is complete, the event for that day is deemed a race and all prize monies as advertised will be split between the remaining racers in that race.


C) If you leave the track premises during the weekend, please be sure to have attendance tickets for re-entry.
